How do you lose fat in your face?
Date Posted: July 1st, 2010 Posted Under: how to lose fatHow do you lose the fat in your face. Im skinny bout 130 pounds but muscular at age 16 bout 5′6 or 5′7 and have a sorta chubby face. I would love to lose that and get a skinnier face look but how?
that sounds like what people refer to as ‘baby fat’ at your age, and it will probably disappear as you mature and hormones change. there is no way to really lose fat in one area, you lose weight all over when you are in a calorie deficit (using more calories than you eat) and when you don’t have any stored anywhere else, your face will get thinner, too…but are you sure it is fat? puffiness can be from water retention…consuming too much sodium, not drinking enough fluids are things that can cause this.

You can’t lose fat in your face without also losing it in your body. However, your face will naturally thin out a little as you get older; that’s why its called "baby fat."
There is nothing wrong with having a fuller face; research has shown that women feel more warmly and affectionately toward people with a rounder face, (a "baby face")! I think the combination of a muscular body and a full face is ideal!! Enjoy it!!

Cardio exercises help you lose fat. Lifting weights builds muscle whereas cardio (running, walking, elliptical machines, biking, etc.) gets your heart pumping without necessarily adding bulk to your muscles. You’ll trim down all over, not just in your face.

Your sixteen, you will naturallly get that chiseled look around 18 or so. Unless you have a face shape that is part of your genetic pool. Look at your mom and dads face shape. Is it round oval or square? My boys all had sort of poofy faces till they were about 17-18. It will happen you’ll see. Its just what they call baby fat.

ok, now you’ll feel very silly, and look even funnier, but this really works to tone the muscles in your face and neck!! doing this every day or so, your face will be more chisled looking after several months. it takes time for it to happen, won’t begin to see results for one to two weeks.
tilt your head back, open your open as big as you can, then say the alphabet out loud, slowly. With your mouth make each letter in a VERY exaggerated way, pulling any muscle in your face, cheeks, jaw, and neck that you can.
ok this is harder to explain than I thought! lol
tilting your head back, when you open your mouth as big as you can, and say the letter ‘a’, for example, you’ll scrunch up your eyes, stretch your mouth open and down as far as it will go, (even til your cheeks and jaws hurts a bit), stretch your lips out to the sides at the same time (like a hideous open grin), and end saying the ‘a’ by slowly bringing your lips back together, using your jaws, which stretch your neck muscles.
doing it right you’ll feel the muscles in your entire face and neck stretching, then relaxing. now go on to the letter ‘b’ and do the same thing. by the time you reach ‘z’, the muscles in your face and neck will be very very tired! in the beginning you might not be able to get all the way thru the alphabet. that’s ok, keep trying cuz by saying each letter of the alphabet in the above way, you’ll be working your face and neck muscles in different ways for each letter.
ok now.. did that even make sense?
when I do this, my dog stares at me like I’ve totally lost it or something! ahaha..
