Werewolf: What are some ways of becoming a werewolf besides those listed below?

Date Posted: July 30th, 2009 Posted Under: murder fat

Taken into consideration if there were or are such beasts:
1. A Russian legend said that it was necessary to jump over a fallen tree in the forest, stab it with a small copper knife & chant a spell.
2. Eating the brains or roasted flesh of a wolf.
3. Drinking water that collected in a wolf’s paw print, or water-holes frequented by wolves.
4. Eating the brains of an animal killed by wolves.
5. Rubbing an ointment of boiled wolfbane, opium, foxgloves, bat blood, and the fat of a murdered child onto one’s body and chanting certain spells. This must be done on a full moon at midnight. This spell is only broken by death or stabbing his forehead 3 times.
KNOW OF ANY OTHER WAYS TO BECOME A WEREWOLF?

Getting bitten by a werewolf is the most common method. Under the modern ‘viral theory’ you could also get injected with blood from a werewolf.

Why you’d want to do that I don’t know.

Being cursed by someone you have wronged in some way (called Lycaeonia curse).
Putting on Wolf Skin: Most easiest way of becoming werewolf; however, there have been debates concerning effectiveness of the method. An evil minded person could put on hide of a dead wolf and become a werewolf. In case the complete skin was unavailable, a belt or girdle of wolf hide would supplement it.

the most common one you misses. the wolf belt.

a sash of wolf hide that could be worn by a human to change at will.

it is this very item that is said to have damned Stubb Peeter .
he was one of the most famous werewolves executed by the catholic church. he stood accused of killing and raping no less than 13 women and children. and the belt was used as evidence at his trial. it is said that it is granted by a demon. and can give a person the ability to take on the full form of a wolf, or to remain human with higher senses.

the wold belt was also used as evidence in the trials of the werewolf of Calgry.

    the Black Forest Were Wolf.

the Old Mill Wolf. and several others whose names of titles of infamy escape me at this time.

the bitten and infected story seems to be of pure hollywood make.

also eating the flesh of any animal killed by wold. or eating the flesh or another werewolf. were some possible ways.
